When data reliability is critical Service Measurement can help. We are experts at providing authoritative, timely data for some of Europe’s largest organisations. For example, every month we collect 100,000 prices that are used in calculating the United Kingdom’s Consumer Prices Index, an extremely important economic indicator. These prices are recorded in towns and cities across the country over a three day fieldwork window, validated and delivered within 12 hours. They are then back-checked by government auditors.
Large scale operational capabilities are at the heart of what we offer. In our work assessing Quality of Service with Royal Mail we make in excess of 10 million individual measurements annually. Test items are sent from each postcode sector in the UK.
Complex requirements create process challenges that are often unsuited to ‘one-size-fits-all’ approaches. One of our clients, Transport for London, requires detailed and regular data on transport patterns to contribute to their demand monitoring and forecasting models. Service Measurement created bespoke systems to support the collection, validation and reporting of this data.
